This week was the last week of our Ulpan (intensive language course)!
This week was full of adventures!
I urge everyone to study abroad..do not see it as leaving your friends and family..see it as venturing out to grow your circle of friends and family tree.
While prepping for my study abroad experience, I learned about the phenomenon that is the study abroad “bubble,” where study abroad students often have difficulty branching out to meet and interact with new people outside of their study abroad group.
I know that I will want to keep in touch with my new friends, and it feels good to know that I have a long-lasting connection to Pune.
Our internships/directed research/documentaries are all wrapped up and it’s almost time to go home (what?!).
Pune is on the edge of an area of India known as the Western Ghats.
Even though I have been in Shanghai for about a month and a half now, there is so much that I have yet to see.
Wow, I really don't know where to start. I have so much to say in this post, I actually just want to start by saying thanks to the Alliance for this great opportunity.
