One of the interesting things about the program here in India is the internship aspect of the program.
After trekking the Taklamakan just two days prior, we found ourselves on another morning heading up a snow covered mountain trail to see Shipton’s Arch.

This weekend I went back to my home state Kerala to celebrate Vishu with my family. Vishu is our new year and is usually a time to be with family.
What was this? I'm not totally sure... we were invited to a fancy evening party called "Gulabari" at one of the estates of a Banaras-ian who now lives in Kolkata.
